Paris has been on judging panels for the Living Stories Writing Competition for two years running. She is part of the WestWords Academy Alumni and has  presented Creative Writing Workshops for children and teenagers as part of school holiday library programs.

Paris was chuffed to have won the Poetry category of the New England Thunderbolt Prize for Crime Writing 2022. Her prize-winning villanelle, 'A Cautionary Tale', may be read here.

Paris's poem 'Neon Slipstream' was shortlisted for the Hammond House International Literary Prize 2022. It  features in the 'Changes' anthology, which may be purchased here.

Paris is extremely grateful to have been awarded a poetry mentorship as part of the Arts Access Australia Mentorship and Professional Development Program 2022, where she had the pleasure of working with experimental poet Gemma Mahadeo.

​

She was also most fortunate to have been a Frontier Poetry Spring Poetry Lab 2022 scholarship recipient.

​

Paris was thrilled beyond words to have been awarded a WestWords/Copyright Agency Cultural Fund Fellowship 2023, where she has had the pleasure and privilege of being mentored by phenomenal poet ali whitelock. With this Fellowship, Paris's dreams of 'some day' publishing a collection of her poetry have crossed the threshold of being merely wishful hopes to all of a sudden entering the very real realm of possibility!
